Shakes and Desserts
Nutribar shakes can be prepared in many different ways to add exciting variations to your menu. Here are just a few to try—you may want to come up with your own creations.
Nutribar Fruit Drink
1 banana, chopped, or other fruit
¾ cup 2% milk
1 scoop Nutribar Powder
2 to 3 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend on low speed for 20 seconds. Then mix on high speed for 1 minute, or until smooth.
Per Serving: 327 calories; protein 12.3 g; fat 6.1 g; carbohydrate 58.6 g.

Nutribar Yogurt Fruit Drink
1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1 frozen banana, chopped
½ cup strawberries
1 scoop Nutribar Powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Mix on low speed for 20 seconds. Then mix on high speed for 1 minute, or until smooth.
Per Serving: 415.7 calories; protein 19.5 g; fat 6.7 g; carbohydrate 72.9 g.

Nutribar Strawberry
Yogurt Dessert
3 cups strawberries or other fruit,
thinly sliced
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. hot water
1 scoop Nutribar Vanilla Powder mixed with
1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
Put 1 cup of strawberries into bowl. Dissolve sugar in hot water and pour over strawberries; stir. Heat in a microwave on high for 1 to
1-1/2 minutes, or until soft.
Mash and cool. Before serving, stir in
remaining strawberries, and Nutribar-yogurt
mix.
Per Serving: 453.2 calories; protein: 20.4 g;
fat: 4.1 g; carbohydrate: 88.2 g.

Nutribar Porridge
¾ cup water
¼ cup quick cooking rolled oats
¼ tsp. maple or vanilla extract
1 scoop Nutribar powder
Serve with fresh fruit.
In a bowl, combine water, oats, flavouring and Nutribar powder. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, uncovered. Stir. Let mixture cool slightly before serving with fresh fruit.
